If you take care of your leather boots they will last longer and it will keep that fresh and impeccable look for many years in a row. If you dirt your leather boots with mud or snow, you should take care of it immediately, as it follows:
– once you’ve got home, wipe the boots from all residues with a damp cloth to remove any trace of dirt, and then use a dry cloth to wipe it.
– leave the boots to dry by itself, in the house, but never near a heat source, because the leather will wrinkle and it will become stiff.
– the next day, when the leather boots are completely dry, it’s good if you wipe your boots with special leather cream, body milk or oil. The oil or body milk will keep the leather moisturized and elastic.
– another trick to clean salt stains from leather boots is to use onion, as it follows: cut an onion in half and rub the salt stains with the succulent side of the onion
